🚗 The Road Less Travelled: Shimla to Kaza

My journey began in Shimla, and from there I took the road through Narkanda, Rampur, and Kalpa to Kaza—the heart of Spiti. Hiring a local driver (thanks to recommendations on a Spiti travel WhatsApp group), I traversed some of India’s highest motorable roads, often with no phone signal and only mountain goats for company.

• Solo Safety: I felt safe as a solo traveler but always informed my host of my travel plans.
